Dr. Pat gives nutrition seminar
Do we really need vitamins? Are some of them harmful? Do certain drugs cause problems that may be worse than the reason for taking the drug to begin with? Do we need to eat low fat, no fat, all protein, no carbs, low carbs or just eat whatever we want? How about orange juice? What is the best water to drink? Is PMS normal? How about hot flashes? Can’t seem to sleep all night? Why? How much sleep do you need? Can kids eat whatever they want and really get away with it? Why don’t cows drink their own milk to get big, strong, healthy bones? Can fast food survive a nuclear blast? Foods are supposed to decay right? If a germ or mold won't even touch the food, then why would we eat it?
I could go on for days and you would get a brain cramp. My point is that we do not know what to do when it comes to what we need to put into our mouths for nutrition.
Can a NASCAR run really fast on grape jelly? Then why do we put junk into our bodies and expect them to run great? I have spent the last 10 years in practice teaching my patients the common sense approach to healthy nutrition. We are always putting on a new seminar and the admission is always the same price…FREE! It is my passion to see everyone get a handle on proper nutrition. I believe 90% of all heart disease would be erased with this vital information. Just think about 500,000 people who would not have to die this year from a heart attack. How many families would still have their Mom or Dad around to see their children grow up? I bet that would benefit the kids tremendously.
Come to one of our nutrition seminars and bring the kids so they can see first hand what is in the soda and how the body has to deal with it. A picture is worth a thousand words and the pictures we paint of health 20 years from now will send a chill up the spine of even the most skeptical teenager or young adult. Who wants to work hard your whole life only to spend the remaining years in some nursing home having some stranger change your bed pan because you did not take better care of yourself when you had the chance?
Now is the time to learn. Wisdom is to be cherished. Practice what you have been taught and be an example to others, Take care of yourself now so you won’t have to have someone taking care of you later because you can’t. Call the office to get more details on one of our upcoming nutrition, health, and fitness seminars. Reserve a seat for yourself, the whole family and even some friends. Get healthy together. It can be contagious.
