Pat and Mia Kennedy were classmates at Texas Chiropractic College where they became instant friends as they had so much in common. They both attended the University of Florida and took the same classes and even had mutual friends in Florida but they never met until chiropractic school. They were married in 1991 the same year they opened up their first chiropractic clinic. A few years later they started a family and currently (2011) their daughter Maddie (17) and son Ben (15) attend Glenvar High School. Salem is their home. The funny thing is when Pat is asked if he is from Salem he always says, "Born and raised!" Well, it is not the truth exactly. He was born in Salem, Massachusetts but Salem was his home then and is now! |
Pat and Mia decided during their internship to learn as many different chiropractic techniques as possible so that whatever a patient's problem was, they were sure to have a technique that would help. However, chiropractic cannot cure everything so they have aligned themselves with excellent Medical Doctors to help co-treat their patients whenever necessary and that is one of the reasons Medical Doctors send them patients as well. Their philosophy 20 years ago is the same today and that is they will do whatever it takes to help a patient get well and if they cannot help, they will find someone who can.
Their practice is a family friendly environment with a focus on not just getting patients out of pain and healthy again but keeping them that way. Most people can get neck or back pain to temporarily go away or to help indigestion and heart burn in the short term or even lose 10 pounds quickly. But the real trick is keeping the neck and back pain away, the indigestion to be fixed, and the 10 pounds to stay off for life! So if you want a quick fix, they can help. If you want a permanent fix, they can help. The choice is yours and they will support you either way you go.

| Tracey is the office manager and has worked for the Kennedy's for many years. They have said they would have to close the doors if Tracey were to leave. Several years ago Tracey found herself suffering from a severe case of Fibromyalgia as a single Mom of three. Through many chiropractic treatments along with a relentless prayer life, Tracey was " cured " from her Fibromyalgia and came to work for the Kennedy's. She is such an encouragement to patients because she knows first hand the experience of being a chiropractic patient herself. If anything needs to be done quickly in the office, Tracey is the one to ask. |
